Known among collectors as the “John Mayer Daytona,” this distinctive configuration combines the Daytona's motorsport heritage with one of the most recognizable dial designs of its generation. The 40 mm Oyster case is crafted entirely from 18K yellow gold and is complemented by a matching solid-gold Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock clasp and Easylink comfort extension. The fixed 18K yellow-gold bezel is engraved with a tachymetric scale designed to measure average speeds over a known distance. At the heart of the watch is Rolex's in-house Calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch.
